Isa.7: 13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel

Math.1: 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us”

The understanding of the Father being with us is so liberating and empowering if truly understood. God intentions has always being to be with his people. Therein He will be speaking to his own and sharing fellowship with them.

In Exo. 33:7 We are told.. “And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp”.

Meaning in seeking the Lord you will find Him in his temple which you are, for we are the temple of the living God. It is from the midst of the temple that you can truly here Him speak.

Lev. 1:1 “And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying”,

From where was God speaking to Moses?, from the Temple , even so it is today. The Lord speaks to his people from within the Temple that you are in your spirit man.

Look at it

“And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.

And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest’s office”.

And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel”. Exo.29:43-44, 25:21-22.

‘And there I will meet with thee’ That is, over the mercy-seat, between the cherubim. In this place God chose to give the most special manifestations of presence and person.

Now it must be seen that the heart of the redeemed man is God’s sanctuary; for as, in the sanctuary, that is where the shechinah or Divine glory resides, because there we have the ark, the tables, and the cherubim; so, in the heart of man, it is necessary that a place be made for the Divine Majesty to dwell in, and that it be the holy of holies, the spirit of man.”

Paul specifically declares on this matter’..

“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Eph.2:19-22.

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? …And “he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”. 1Cor.3:16,.6:17.

This union of the spirit of the Father with and in our spirit is what truly produces our sonship at the end. Now we have the privileges to express the Father who is the unseen God and we can declare the things that are not known by reason of His union with us..This is the Emmanuel factor of our become one with the Father.

See Apostle Paul lived out what I am saying as he set rules for married matters.

“Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful… The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God”. .1 Cor.7:25; 39-40.

Can you see that? By reason of his union in sprit with the lord, now being one spirit, he could make rules to be observed and the Holy Spirit permitted them to be written down as inspired of the Holy Spirit.

This is a doctrine most implicitly taught by the apostles; and the absolute necessity of having the heart made a habitation of God through the Spirit; this is strongly and frequently insisted on through the whole of the New Testament. It is the revelation of our oneness with the Father which should be the answer to Jesus’ prayer

“ I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” ..Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;. ..That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world…

And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them”.John.17:15-26.

‘Emmanuel’…God and man becoming one.
