Description
The word KINGDOM is the Greek word basilea and denotes SOVEREIGNTY, which requires the actual presence of a king or sovereign. The word sovereignty means the supreme power especially over a body politic. It also means freedom from external control, autonomy. Controlling influence. It speaks of an autonomous state.
There can be no kingdom without a king.
KINGDOM, actually come from two words, viz; King and Domain, or DOM= Dominion.
What makes up a kingdom?
(1) A living king
(2) The subjects of the king.
(3) The Territory to which the kingdom exist in.
(4) The laws or culture of the kingdom or people.
Once these four elements are present in any place, then we can say a kingdom is in existence for example.Daniel.4: 29 “At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.”
