GOD WOULDN’T FAIL

God is not trying to save the whole world now, but he is rather busy raising sons through whom he will save the world like the first born son Jesus.

“Acts.15:12-18, Eph.2:4-8, Rom.8:20-23”

These sons, are the ones that understand that they are saved by grace that they in turn will show same to the rest of mankind in the ages to come.

“And hath raised us up together, and made ussit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus” Eph.2.6-7.

So, friends while it looks like God is failing as you look at the things around the globe, let it be noted that the Father is at work preparing his sons behind the scene.

The true qualification for these set of sons will be the ability to extend mercy to mankind at the end. He who doesn’t understand the role mercy played in his salvation will not be part of this new move of God on the earth in the ages to come.

For you can not be a king without being a priest. It is only the combination of the king/Priest (Rev.5.10) that can manifest true dominion.

Just a thought!

Is this truly the Rapture?

Who was ????? ?????

What does it mean to be taken away?

Do we really believe in what the Lord said?
Are we reading our meaning into what he said?

Is something wrong with our understanding of this page?

Look at it again;

????.17: 27 (???) – They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and ????????? ???? ???.

???? 17:27 (???) – Everybody kept on eating and drinking, and men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat and the ????? ???? ??? ?????? ???? ???.

???? 24:38 (????) – For just as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, [men] marrying and [women] being given in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah went into the ark, 39 And they did not know or understand until the flood came and ????? ???? ??? ???? —so will be the coming of the Son of Man. [Gen 6:5-8; 7:6-24.]
40 At that time two men will be in the field; one ???? ?? ????? and one will be left.

???? 24:39 (???) and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

????.24:39 (???) yet they did not realize what was happening until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes.

???? 17:27 (???) Everybody kept on eating and drinking, and men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat and the flood came and killed them all.

With this simple comparison, its evident that Jesus wasn’t talking about ????????? a people, but rather that those who never heed the warnings of Noah were killed by the flood and that is what is meant be taken away. ?? ?? ??? ?????? ???? ??? ????? ???? (??????) ??? ??? ?????????.

Apostle Peter alluding to the same scenario, said;
2 Pet.3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men”.

This was before AD 70. As 2nd Peter was written between AD 62-64. So here Peter was saying like what Mathew and Luke said, that ??? ??????? ???, ????? ??? ??? ??? ??? ????????? ????? ??? ????????????? ???? ??? ????? ????? ????? ????????? , ?????? ?????? ?? ??? ????? ???? ??? ??? ?? ??? ????? ???????? who came to Jerusalem under General Titus.

Evidently we got something wrong, using Mathew 24 , with ??? ??? ?? ??? ???? ?????, ?? ???? ??? ??????? of the saints. That certainly wasn’t the mind of Christ in using the compassion of Noah to his coming.

The Joy in the Book of Revelation

Rev. 1:3 Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who reads aloud [in the assemblies] the word of this prophecy; and blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who hear [it read] and who keep themselves true to the things which are written in it [heeding them and laying them to heart], for the time [for them to be fulfilled] is near.Amp.

He who communicated the Book of Revelation stated clearly that there is so much joy, happiness and fulfilment in reading, understanding and keeping the word of the Book.

So it is not a Book about the Anti -Christ, the burning up of planet Earth, hell, Russian, tigers and crocodiles in the Nile River, etc etc for what is commonly taught and believed about this Book does not answer to the description of the Book neither can it produce joy in man but fear and dread.

It is not just a historical fulfilled Book of the past either of the Jews of old alone ,. As we remind ourselves also of the fact that the word of God is of yesterday, today and forever. But rather it is the the Revelation of Jesus Christ, meaning you read to see the son of God that is veiled by self and religious tradition opened up to you.

So why does it bring so much joy to the reader? it is because it is a Book that unveils our sonship in God, for you see, in discovering Christ, you discover yourself for Christ is our life (Col.3:3). And the discovery of Christ is a priviledge granted by the Father alone, not from Books or the seminary. For no man can know the son except to whom the Father reveals him ( Math,11 :27), when Peter answered, thou art the Christ the son of the living God,(Math. 16:16-17) Jesus rightly said the Father revealed that to him.

I perceived that we have read so much into this Book that is truly not there. To understand this Book one has to be in the same state that the writer was, ” I was in the spirit on the lords day ” (Rev 1:10). Meaning no carnal or religious understanding can unlock this Book. May the Father grant us the spirit of revelation of the Book of Revelation.

Transformation is beyond Deliverance

God‘s goal in creation is to raise sons unto himself after his image and likeness on the face of the Earth. As good as deliverance may be , this cannot be able to achieve this and its not God’s idea to get his sons to himself through that means.

God delivered Israel out of Egypt and intended to get them to himself as a royal priesthood (Exo.19:4-5) through the law he gave to them on Mount Sanai, but Israel never left Egypt in their minds as they will not submit to the word of the Lord. This is why all of the deliverances going on today in the church cannot produce the desired results, because that which will keep men in position with and in God is missing, and that is man treasuring the word of the lord is in his heart.

In Rom 12: 1-2, we are told.. “ I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]”. AMP.

The channel God has ordained for us to be transformed is through the word as we are renewed in our minds. Renewing the mind is a factor of word assimilation and application.

And the mind has a spirit, so we are told. … “And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude]”, Eph 4:23 AMP.

This is where desired change comes from, man’s mental and spiritual disposition. This is what ‘deliverance’ cannot achieve for us.

So man begins his journey of transformation through and in the word. So when we read of John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God””.

The “word” as used here is “logos”, which among other things means thoughts. So then when we are talking of the word, we mean the thoughts of God.So in receiving the word of God, you are receiving his thoughts and becoming one with him.

“For as he (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he: ..” Prov. 23:7 (KJV) Meaning man can’t be better than his thoughts. “You are your thoughts.”

Therefore when we read… In “Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (KJV)

God is simply rebuking mankind for thinking below his thoughts as sons on Earth. He who is renewed in the spirit of his mind thinks the thoughts of God as demonstrated by Jesus in his earthly ministry.

Paul writing to the Corinthians Church on marriage matters said..
1 Cor.7: 25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful…. 40 But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

The word Judgment (gnome,) speaks of cognition, opinion, resolve, counsel, judgment, mind, purpose, will.

Can you imagine that the thoughts and opinion Paul shared as instructions became rules as part of the inspired word of God?. He has become one with God in his thoughts.

This, my friends is the transformation needed which we can walk into in God as intended. A realm in that which the deliverances cannot produce. Sonship is transformation!

Insecure Leadership 4

MOVING OUT OF INSECURITY BY RAISING LEADERS.

Another good illustration to buttress this point is found in the ministry of the sons of the Prophet who were with Elisha. Look at it,

Sons of the Prophets.

2Kings 6:
1 And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.
2 Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.
3 And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.
4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.
5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

This is what it means not only to be a son or staff of an establishment, but the very fact that these people gets to own the vision. And they are more concerned for the expansion and progress of the work than even you. Elisha seems not to have noticed or have the burden to move on beyond where they were.

The sons pointed out this problem of the smallness of the environment they were in, to Elisha and demanded for the need to expand it. Not just that, but also proffer a solution to the problem by asking that they build a bigger place.

Vesre.3 And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.
Elisha approved their thoughts of moving to a bigger space, but they were not content to go without their boss. This is ministry and corporate synergy to birth a bigger sphere of the establishment or ministry.

They knew they needed him with them even though Elisha permitted them to go without him. Here we see again, that Elisha had trust in his sons and would give them free hand to run the system if they so choose. He wasn’t afraid they might leave him to start something else on their own outside of him or join themselves to another Prophet. He wasn’t suspicion of their move or even thinking that one of them could rise and take over leadership once they leave him. He was a secure leader.

And to you the disciple, staff or children, how do you feel seeing your establishment or ministry not growing.? How comfortable are you in the midst of the stagnations that your ministry is facing and your thought is just, well it’s not my own! etc. It shows you have not bought into the vision.

You have not owned the vision with the leader. You are still serving for the purpose of what you can get at the end of the day and perhaps setting your eyes on the goal of leaving one day, soonest to establish your own. Hear what they lord will say to a people like this ..

Luke 16:12 “And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own”?

Meaning one of the reasons for the delays you are having in life and even why the work is not progressing in your hand, is because you have not shown commitment and faithfulness to the ministry or establishment that you are seeing in, or the office that you are occupying.

The lord judges you based on your commitment to the place you are in per time. You must begin to see the position or job you are doing to be your present allotment from the lord and be serious with it to bring the required expansion and changes. See the confessions of Laban after what happened to his business as a result of the visitation of Jacob.

Gen.30: 27 And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.28 And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it.

Can you see that? Laban will not allow Jacob to leave because, his business prospered in the hands of Jacob. Now, God have to provide for Jacob by giving him a vision that turned his fortunes around as he leaves. That is the point I am raising. As one who is serving in any capacity in another man’s ministry or company. Your reward is always with the Father because of your faithfulness. It comes in, in the way your least can expect.

Verse 5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

They went out of their way to borrow what to use in getting the proffered solution to the problem. They never came to him or to ask how it must be achieved, they already know what to do outside of Elisha. They borrowed? Meaning, they put their lives on the line to get the required result for what they needed, not just for themselves but for Elisha to have a bigger place and ministry if need be. Have you come to the place in your ministry or establishment where your staffs can take initiatives and do so at their own cost?

And to the staff or disciples, have you come to the place where you can do things without bothering the CEO or always asking for things to be done without your total commitment? You haven’t yet bought into the vision or ministry.

Verse .6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

The axe swam out because there was a reason it was borrowed, and the person of Elisha was there. Meaning, no matter what you expended in trying to cause the vision to move forward, there will always be a reward and restoration at the end.

The story of Gehazi is in 2 kings 4: 8 -17.is another interesting picture of a trained servant who can recognize what the master cannot see even though he was a prophet.

Do you realised that Gehazi the servant of Elisha was the one that saw that the women who hosted them was barren?

Despite the fact that he was working with a prophet, it was not the prophet that saw the problem that was in that home, but the servant. A trained servant with the commission in his heart could see issues, just like the disciples of Jesus saw the lad with the five loaves and two fishes.

Fully trained sons could see what the CEO, s and family heads can’t see. When sons or workers rises to take responsibility, it frees the leadership from insecurity.

Another beauty illustration of this fact is found in the book of second king about the healing of Naaman the captain of Syrian army …

The girl from Israel.

2 Kings 5 :1 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife.
3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
4 And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
5 And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.
6 And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy”.

Again, we see here that it took a slave girl from Israel, not anybody else to proffer solution to the master’s problem. What is really impressing about this girl’s story is the fact that, she understood her culture where she came from. Here is a girl in a foreign land, but the environment and the fact that she was a slave did not intimidate her or shut her out from trusting and still believing in her identity as an Israelite. She is so immersed in that culture that external or foreign influence could not rob her of her cultural belief. She still beliefs that the solution to here master was tied to her home-grown culture. No fears no embarrassment or doubt in her mind, about what could happen if only the master can get there.

Here is the question for the would-be leader, how solidly strong a conviction about the culture of the house are your disciples and workers.? Can they be able to represent you when you are not there? Can they be bold enough to speak of the culture of the house, ministry outside of the locality. What do they know about the house that you are raising them in? Do they speak of their ministry to others out of deep conviction?

A true leader should be able to raise men and woman of substances that would be a reflection of the culture they are developed in, outside of their environment. Raise leaders and well-developed men with the culture in their veins and be free from insecurity.

Insecure Leadership 3

Moving out of insecurity by raising leaders.

In the Book of Mathew is an interesting story about Jesus and his disciples whom he has raised.

Math 14: 15 “When evening had come, the disciples went to him and said, “This is a deserted place, and it’s already late. Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

16 But Jesus told them, “They don’t need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
17 They told him, “We don’t have anything here except five loaves of bread and two fish.” (Compare)
18 He said, “Bring them to me.”
19 Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed them. Then he broke the loaves in pieces and gave them to his disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
20 All of them ate and were filled. Then the disciples picked up what was left of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full”.

Look at this story. Can you picture something significance happened here?

Firstly, the disciples have been so trained by Jesus that they could spot the problem in the ministry right there. The people that have been with them listening to Jesus’ teachings needs to eat. That was compassion!

The same spirit that marked the ministry of Jesus. They have bought into his spirit and the power that drove his ministry. They have as it were, now owned the ministry. They were one with him concerning the project.

See how owning the vision played out in the ministry of Paul when he was called to Macedonia.

Acts.16: 9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, come over into Macedonia, and help us.
10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

Did you notice the “HE”, “WE” and “US” in their language?

That describes ownership. Now they own the same vision giving to Paul.

Friends, that is leadership. Have you been able to sell the vision completely to your people such that what drives you is what drives them? Have they seen the goal, why you have embarked on what you are doing in ministry, establishment or family goals to your children?

Can your children relate to your vision or goals in life?

Again, when they told Jesus that the people should go and buy food to eat.

Look at Jesus’ reply.

“Math.14:16 But Jesus told them, “They don’t need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

Meaning, they have what it takes to feed them people. He had confident in them that they can do what he would do. He was not intimidated. He never made them feel he alone can and maybe have answer or solution to the problem.

This is the issue; a secure leader should be able to trust his subordinate to do things without fear of taking the centre stage from him. If the disciples have performed the miracle or supplied the provision for the people when he asked to do so, would the attention of the people not have turned to the disciples as some great ones? Would they not have rated them very highly? But that wouldn’t have affected Jesus because he was secured in his leadership role. He knew he owns the project; his disciples are his supporters who have come to own the vision with him.

Can you relate to the above facts as a leader?

On the other hand, as someone employed in a company, how much of the solution do you have in your hand to offer.

Have you even noticed if there is a problem in the place of work that needs solution?

Do you always want from your boss to raise issues or see problems that needs to be tackled?

Then you have not owned the vision with the management. You are just there for the wages you collect and not minding what’s going on. That is not how to be an employee or a disciple in a ministry.

I hear someone say, David, you can’t trust anybody today to handle your business for you. No one is reliable to that extent. Well, could it be I am writing on the ideal situation?

“We don’t have anything here except five loaves of bread and two fish”

Their reply when Jesus asked them to provide for the people.

In John’s account, it was a Lad, a young man that had the five loaves ad two fishes

Joh 6:9 “There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many”?

The question is, how could the disciples be able to locate and noticed a young man with the five loaves and two fishes in the midst of such a great crowd.

What a level of diligence people! This shows you, how careful they were in the ministry of Jesus. They had details and knew exactly what was going on in such a large crusade that took place, to have been able to notice that a young man had the provision they needed for the problem at hand.

This is the impact of a secured leadership on them. It shows how much they truly have come to owned the vision. Meaning a secured leader must raise his people to the point where they also can see the solution to the problem besetting the industry or ministry.

Vs,18 He said, “Bring them to me.”

Means, let me see what you have as a solution to the problem. Here the leader examines or talks over the problem or the solution they have. He approved their ideas and suggestion to the problem; he never discarded their thought because it was too small a solution compared to the multitude of the people that needs to be fed. He rather raised their solution from the level of insignificants to the ultimate solution needed by multiplying the bread and fishes miraculously.

What this teaches us is that, whenever your subordinates proffer a solution to a problem, you don’t run them down if it doesn’t seem to measure up as a solution to the problem at hand. You raise and inspire their idea and graces. That ought to be the role of a secure leader.

“Then he broke the loaves in pieces and gave them to his disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds”.

He broke the bread and gave it to the disciples to share with the people. This is a man who does not have any form of insecurity within him as a leader. He did delegate responsibly, but never mind the fact that the people will see the disciples as the one feeding them, looking like the miracles is coming from them. He was able to impact them to be sable to impact others.

True secure leadership doesn’t mean you must be at the centre stage all the time. Most times you take the back seat and watch them perform.

The idea of building and developing your people into embracing the culture of the house or ministry with the mind to causing a growth and influence on the work as a secure leader cannot be overemphasized.

A WORD ON SONSHIP.

Rom.1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: .

Luke.24:36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

I am an avow preacher of the message of the kingdom/sonship, but Jesus sets the perfect example of what sonship really is, FLESH AND BONES! not flesh and blood.

I hear so much proclamation of “now are we the sons of God”, so nothing more to press on into. Beloved there is a big difference between being born into the family of God as a child and growing to become the manager of the father’s estate.

Jesus walked this earth for forty Days teaching on the things pertaining to the kingdom of God, after resurrection but with flesh and bones not flesh and blood, He walked through the walls into the room with doors and windows shut, that is the true and the fullness of sonship in manifestation.

Rom.1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead”

There is it. His full sonship was manifested when he rose from the grave flesh and bones.

Friends, as long as blood is still dripping in our flesh, there is still the need to press on to the fullness.

To me the fullness of sonship is the realization of the feast of tabernacle.

You can’t name this and claim it by faith; it is strictly a set time by the father alone, just like when the day of Pentecost was fully come, the Holy Spirit was poured out.

If Pentecost was demonstrated by the 120 in the upper, then let us hope to see a few arise to demonstrate tabernacles/ sonship before the rest of humanity to be admired at.

This should be our cravings and not much talking

Just a thought!

Insecure Leadership 2

Matt 2:16 Herod was furious when he realized that the wise men had outwitted him. He sent soldiers to kill all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, based on the wise men’s report of the star’s first appearance (NLT)

Herod was an insecure leader.

John the Baptist was not intimidated when the people told him that Jesus is getting more people than him.

Joihn.3:26 “And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.”

There was no insecurity in John because he knew his calling and what he was here for.
When all you do is to shut down other ministries from getting invitations to preach in the environment you have being before by painting other ministries black and giving them all kinds of names. You are suffering from leadership/ ministry insecurity. You need help no matter who you are help in ministry.

When you have to spend one hour to correct your guess speakers’ message that you gave him 30mins to preach, because you do not want the people get into error. You are suffering from insecurity. If you have done your work well, your people should be able to know what is truth and what is error when somebody else preaches. Do you correct all the messages they listen to on television when you are not there?

First of all, you must recognize that everyone or any position of leadership you are occupying today, whether it be that of Father, Mother, CEO of a company must be seen as a calling from God and by God. Just as we are told of the office occupied by Aaron and Jesus towards the people as priests.

Heb.5: 4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee.

Once you miss out on this fact, that you are called and set in place by God, you become insecure in your attitude and character towards the people you are called to lead.

King Herod was such a leader. He was such an insecure leader that he feared the loss of power and had to control every aspect of the people he was ruling.

Leaders of these nature, has deep-seated control issues rooted in the fear of the loss of power, money and prestige.

And most often you wouldn’t even know they have all these issues within, until certain things are made real that they feel is a threat to their position and then they explode.

This spirit is demonstrated by Herod and King Saul. Herod heard about Jesus’ birth, the level of insecurity in him got out of control, which resulted in his making life-threatening decisions for those in Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

Saul’s level of insecurity as a king exploded on hearing people sang about the success of David. Now, he found a rival in David, and that is something he cannot contain within himself. This is the outcome of leadership with insecurity. Have you wondered why you were invited as a quest speaker among others and you were given 30mins when the hall was empty, while others had one hour to share? Insecurity was speaking maybe. Either you don’t have what is relevant, which on the most part is not true, or someone is afraid of you and your message.

So, you see, like Herod, Fathers take decisions that could be detriment to the entire family because they suspect either their wives or children are trying to usurp authority or otherwise.

The attitude of most parents changes once they suspect or feel their children are no longer respecting them the way they should. Are you a parent who flares up for little reasons and talks for hours none stop in the name of trying to correct the child? My friend you’re simply suffering from insecurity. You are talking to protect your position of authority as a parent. You have fears hidden within you that you losing your position in the house.

Listen, it’s not the volume of words with conjectures that corrects a Child. It is a fact of the statement that says ‘A word is enough for the wise’. Encouraging words laden with divine wisdom and love can restore a child, more than a thousand words of outburst. The child might even develop a thick skin towards your constant shouting and frowning of face all the time, thinking you are doing that to get the child’s attention to recognize your position as a parent.

The response of the man whose friend was troubling him in the night to have something for his visitors speaks volume to us in this regard. Hear his reply …

Luke 11:7 “And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.”

This is parenting, ‘my children are with me in bed’. That is relationship, true family union. knowing the position and state of your child per time. When last have you really sat your child down just to discuss the issues of life. How do you express love to them? Buying them gifts and yet no relationship is no love, parents! If you can’t raise your child to the point of trusting and building confidence in you, then you miss this point, and you miss the child.

See this;

Eph 6:4 Fathers, do not irritate and provoke your children to anger [do not exasperate them to resentment], but rear them [tenderly] in the training and discipline and the counsel and admonition of the Lord. (Amp)

Col 3:21 “Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged” (Amp)

Col 3:21 Fathers, do not provoke or irritate or fret your children [do not be hard on them or harass them], lest they become discouraged and sullen and morose and feel inferior and frustrated. [Do not break their spirit.] (Amp)

You see that?

The effect of provoking your chidden your position of leadership as parents?
You make them morose and feeling inferior. You kill their self-esteem parents!

The word ‘provoke’ is so powerful. It means –to anger alongside, i.e. enrage: –anger, provoke to wrath. And ‘wrath’ means: to anger alongside, i.e. enrage: –anger, provoke to wrath.

So, you see, the word of God says, your anger will result in raising the anger of the child, this time around, toward you and that makes you lose him as you lose respect in his sight. Then he begins to resent you as a parent that is fighting back. Too dangerous!

Recognizing that God placed you in authority as a Father or Mother in the home, is enough truth to give you confidence and so break you away from the spirit of insecurity that will make you acts strangely without control.

Same thing with CEO’s who are suspicions of their subordinates of trying to gain more power or popularity. Its turns them over into taking drastic and dangerous decisions in other to protect their position and hold on to power.

Once you are threatened by the rising popularity of your assistance in an office, you are suffering from leadership insecurity. At this stage delegating responsibilities is with restrained and full of suspicions. All of these are the products of insecurity.

Insecure Leadership 1

Matt 2:16 Herod was furious when he realized that the wise men had outwitted him. He sent soldiers to kill all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, based on the wise men’s report of the star’s first appearance. (NLT)

The above passage of scripture described for us the nature Herod was as a leader. Here is a man who is already in position of authority, but got intimidated and went into a killing spree just because of the news that another leader, a king is born.

What could lead to such intimidation?

What could be responsible for such a motivation from a man who is already seated and very much in charge?

The answers to the above questions of Herod outburst of furry, is found in one word INSECURITY.

Insecurity is the lack of confidence or your ability to do well. It is being nervous and uncomfortable.

Again, we read of the story of Saul when an evil spirit from the Lord rested upon him and what he wanted to do to David after he killed Goliath. He did not only dethrone him, he wanted to kill him. 1 Sam.18:6-13.

Verses 11 And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

12 And Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul.

13 Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people”.

All because the women folks and people sang the praises of David for his exploit in killing Goliath.

Can you imagine what upset the king?

Jealousy and envy to the point that he dethroned David from his command position and even wanted to kill him.

Look at the decisions he has to take. What’s leading to all that? Insecurity as a leader.

He felt he has lost his position as the king to David in the eyes of people. But was that true? Not all! He can’t imagine David having all of those accolades from the people while he is there as a king.

So, then he wanted to kill to protect his position. He doesn’t want to lose his kingship to a rising star like David being Gods anointed, just as Herod never wanted to lose his kingship to the star of Jesus, the God ordained king.

Meaning, any leader who is not secure in God will be insecure in their leadership actions.

So then, if you are in leadership in any capacity, whether in the home as a father, Mother or company CEO, Pastor of a local Assembly and you do not recognize the fact that God gave or called you into that position that you are occupying. You will always act insecurely.

Have you in any way as a Pastor felt that your second best, your Assistance pastor is getting more popular than you? Then you are suffering from insecurity.

Have you come to the point where you try to find out how the people you are leading are feeling towards your assistant Pastor?

Do you all of a sudden begin to feel resentment towards your Assistant Pastor or anyone being recognized by the people because of the grace he or she carries? You are suffering from insecurity as a leader.

Have you made decisions to transfer your Assistance Pastor only because he is getting more popular amongst the people? You are suffering from insecurity.

Have you decided to cut down the allowances as a way of punishment to frustrate the Pastor so he can decide to leave and let it not look like you want him out? You have an insecurity problem.

As a Pastor have you just started running series of programs because another ministry just came to your vicinity in order to retain your members? You have insecurity problem.

How do you feel when men talk about the great works the Father is using others to do?

Do you feel intimidated? Then you have insecurity problem.

Do you feel everybody must submit to you and where that is missing you run down other ministries so you get the credit as the only Apostle around town who has the ultimate revelations? You have insecurity problems.

Do you all of a sudden start preaching to condemn others, attacking and finding fault with other people ministries even on face book, all to gain popularity?

You just turned the watchman for Christ in the name of balancing doctrines within the body and even calling names instead of preaching Christ? You have insecurity problem.

Paul said it this way…

Phil. 1: 14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bond to speak the word without fear.

15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds”

And guess what, all those who were preaching to add more bonds to Apostle Paul were all Apostles of some sort. They were so intimidated by the ministry of Paul that once he was in prison, then the obstacles on their way to fame have been removed. Now they must run him down in their preaching, so much so that if possible, he might not have followership when he comes out of prison.

What a great and high-level of insecurity in the lives of ministers of the Gospel even till date. When you want some people’s ministries to go down because of their capacity and the grace that they carry. You are under the influence of insecurity as a minister.

STOP CALLING JESUS A SINNER – PART 5

Gal.3: 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Here it is said, Christ hath redeemed us- ( exhgorasen).meaning he had bought us with a price; i.e his blood, or life, by being made a curse for us.

. Made a curse; treated as accursed, in suffering for our sake the accursed death of the cross. Deut. 21:23; 2Co 5:21.

In other words, he was being made as atonement for our sins. This is so because that which was offered as atonement for sin was considered as bearing the punishment due to sin.

And the person who suffered for transgression was considered as bearing the curse in his body; and such a victim in was taken down from the cross the same day he was executed and buried out of sight to prevent the pollution of the land. The reason being that he that was hanged, was considered accursed of God, which was the case for every of such victim of such crime (Deut.21:22,23). This was responsible for Jesus ‘body being removed same day from the cross.

2 Cor.5: 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

“ who knew no sin”

Math.26: 57 And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

58 But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.

59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

60 But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,

61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

62 And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God”

The above trial of Jesus was to establish one thing, the quilt of Jesus that would make him a sinner, but they found none. The spiritual implication of this trial was very significant. He was the lamb of God, and every Lamb before it is offered must be examined by the priest to see if it is without spot , or blemish of any sort.

So here the priests and elders of Israel were performing that role and spiritually speaking they found no blemish in the Lamb therefore he was qualified to be offered as a sinless Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. Yes, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who KNEW NO SIN” And what is the outcome of this? We became the righteousness of God.

And here is what the word says..Rom.5: 19 “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous”.

And what is that? Simply that by reason of Adam’s disobedience, all mankind disobeyed and was counted sinners. Conversely, by the obedience of Christ, all men are counted obedient, and therefore, righteous. Meaning that all inherited penalty for Adam’s sin is blotted out for the whole human race, and considered righteous people and not sinners anymore if only we can accept and recieve that offer.

1 Cor 1:30 But it is from Him (God) that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption

[providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin]

. AMP.

Now this is what your freedom and righteousness bought by this exchanged life can do for you if only you can truly believe, acknowledge and walk in that conviction.

Isa 54:15 Behold, they may gather together and stir up strife, but it is not from Me. Whoever stirs up strife against you shall fall and surrender to you.

16 Behold, I have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals and who produces a weapon for its purpose; and I have created the devastator to destroy.

17 But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord. AMP.

Can you see it? The peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition you ought to be experiencing today is your heritage as the servants of the Lord who has procured for you your righteousness through the sinless Lamb that God offered.

In conclusion. Jesus was not a sinner, never had sinned, ‘for in him was no sin’. But he was made sin for us, meaning he was offered on our behalf as sin offering that we might BECOME, the righteousness that God desired and longed for. So now we who were once sinners are now righteous people. He did it all.

Henceforth don’t live under condemnation. And as a righteous man, be bold to shut the mouth of whoever will want to rise against you. You have the power!
