Acts 28:31 is the thrust of David Ogaga Ministries as Dr David is passionate about training minister

𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻❓Got this Question as to what is Reincarnation and is it Christian? My answer! The belief of reincarnation states that you could suffer in this world because you were either wicked in your previous life or your parents were.So you come back here to pay for the sins you committed in a previous life.So 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙤𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙨❓But the Word says;Deut. 24:16, “The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.”Why? Because…Ezek. 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die…20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.”Ezek. 18:2, "What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel: "'The fathers eat sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge'? 3 "As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. 4 For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son — both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die,” NIV.I would recommend that you read the whole chapter of Ezek.18 and get the full mind of God.Jesus personally proved this point in his earthly ministry with the man that was born blind, that there is nothing like that. John 9:1, “And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”What do you think was the basis of the disciples question? What was their foundation for this belief? It is a known fact that the doctrine of the transmigration of souls appears to have been an article in the creed of the Pharisees, the religious people of Jesus’ day. And it was a common belief of both the Greeks and the Asiatics. It is said that Pythagoreans believed that the souls of men were sent into other bodies for the punishment of some sin which they had committed in a pre-existent state. We also do know that the Hindus believe that most of their misfortunes arise out of the sins of a former birth. They still hold it. And they profess to tell precisely the sin which the person committed in another body by the afflictions which he endures in this life; e.g., they believe that a headache is a punishment for having, in a former state, spoken irrevently to father or mother. They also want to prescribe cures for it.Madness is a punishment for having been disobedient to father or mother, or to one's spiritual guide. That epilepsy is a punishment for having, in a former state, administered poison to any one at the command of his master.Pain in the eyes is a punishment for having, in another body, coveted another man's wife. Blindness is a punishment for having killed his mother. Can you imagine this? Now is our Christian community different from these pagan worshippers today with what we teach on generational curses in our churches and fellowships? So we see that this is the basis of the disciple’s question. In other words, they said ‘Lord, did this man sin in a pre-existent state that he is punished in this body with blindness? Or, did his parents commit some sin, for which their son is now suffering? But the answer that Jesus gave is a clear fact that he did not only subscribe to such beliefs but doesn’t even want his disciples to adhere to such doctrines. John 9:3, “Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”Jesus said the man’s blindness has nothing to do with the sin of his parent’s or his sins in a previous life.Even King Joash demonstrated this fact when he came to power in Israel. 2Kgs.14:5, "And it came to pass, as soon as the kingdom was confirmed in his hand, that he slew his servants which had slain the king his father.6 But the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.”Can’t we see that teaching generational curses is equivalent to teaching reincarnation like these other societies, Hinduism, and other religious groups?Could it be we are borrowing these beliefs from them?Jesus’ answer to His disciples is simply ‘come off it, there is nothing like that.’It is the belief of the unenlightened in the power of God and the way of the Spirit of Truth.I am still amazed about the authority these ministers are using as if it is from the Bible. Or are we with craftiness bringing in some of our traditional beliefs into the Faith, especially as New Testament believers?Men are looking for generational curses; Grace says there is none.
