Math.6:10. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the Glory.. ….

Just what truly is the power of the kingdom? Is it when men fall as we pray for them? Is it is the casting out of devils from people alone? What actually is the power of the kingdom?

Paul said..
Rom.1: 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the POWER OF GOD unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. My

Here Paul said, the Gospel he preached was the POWER OF GOD leading or producing salvation in the hearers. Meaning the end point of the power released through the Gospel is salvation. That sounds a little bit different from what we are witnessing and believe I supposed?.

Again, in 1 Cor 4:18, he said “Some of you have become conceited and arrogant and pretentious, counting on my not coming to you.
19 But I will come to you [and] shortly, if the Lord is willing, and then I will perceive and understand not what the talk of these puffed up and arrogant spirits amount to, but their force ( the moral power and excellence of soul they really possess).
20 For the kingdom of God consists of and is based on not talk but power ( moral power and excellence of soul)”. AMP

Here Paul is addressing some, who claimed to be Apostles and are full of power. But again he defined what the power of the kingdom ought to be, soul transformation. And this he calls “moral power and excellence of soul.”

Meaning, the religion of the Lord Jesus is not in word-in human eloquence, excellence of speech, not even in doctrines; but rather in power, in that mighty energy of the Holy Spirit; enlightening, quickening, converting, and sanctifying the hearers-believers; and therefore it is said here, that all Christ genuine apostles are enabled, on all and in all circumstances, to demonstrate the truth of their calling by miraculous energy not just in that which we see and try to do but in the converting of the hearers to become more Christ like.

Buttressing his argument Paul said,
1 Cor.2: 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

Here he clarifies this further, by saying my doctrine, and the matter of my proclaiming the grand but simple truths of the Gospel and recommending it, was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom.

By implication I wasn’t using human philosophy and logic in persuading men to accept the message of the cross of Christ. But rather, there was this energy that flowed from my message to the inner conversion of my listeners. In other words, my message made God more evident to men. I never subscribed to using means like great orators in order to become popular, and thereby to gain fame.

Acts.26: 28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds”.
That was a typical demonstration of the power of the kingdom that flowed from Paul’s message to Agrippa when he listened to Paul. ..

How is our message today? What power are we really demonstrating? Is it the kingdom power or just the enticing words of men and then using miracles to cover up the unconverted believers? Is the kingdom power of transformation really taking over in the life of those who listen to us? The kingdom power is the transformation of the souls of men, it is moral power and excellent of soul.

What exactly is the Blessings of Abraham that the Father promised us through him?

Reading in Gen.12: 2 we are told “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed”.

The Blessing is for the whole families of the Earth, Jews and Gentiles. Mongolians, Indians, Japanese, Eskimos alike, none excluded. But what exactly is this blessing. Can we say all have received and are receiving this blessing now? If not why? .Could this be just material blessings alone? If so then, the western world, and Asia Nations are more of the seed and inheritors of the Abramic Blessing as compared to most Africa Nations.

Again, in Gal.3: 7 we read “Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed….
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Here Paul explains that, the Children of Abraham to whom the Blessings are geared towards are those who are of faith in Christ.

Now, most of those wealthy Nations on Earth today are not of the faith in Christ. So how are they blessed and what blessings therefore do they have. How do they come into all these Blessings materially and yet most who claimed to be of the Christ faith are not, if this is the Abraham’s blessings.

I think the answer is in the Book of Acts as declared by Apostle Peter. Here it is

Acts 3:24 “Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel and those who came afterwards, as many as have spoken, also promised and foretold and proclaimed these days.
25 You are the descendants (sons) of the prophets and the heirs of the covenant which God made and gave to your forefathers, saying to Abraham, And in your Seed (Heir) shall all the families of the earth be blessed and benefited.
26 It was to you first that God sent His Servant and Son Jesus, when He raised Him up [provided and gave Him for us], to bless you in turning every one of you from your wickedness and evil ways.” Ampl.

So then, the Abraham’s Blessings primarily was and is the forgiveness of our sins through Christ. This is what the Jews got first when Christ was raised from the grave and poured out the Holy Spirit.

Therefore if you have received Christ, then your sins and iniquities in Adam even those of your great grandfather are forgiven you and forgotten by God. You are a blessed seed of the Father; haven received you back to himself as a son through Christ. Now you are an heir of God and joint heir with Christ.

So, how is it that, the other nations without Christ are so prosperous?

The answer to that again lies in the fact that there is a common grace of God, which says the rain falls on the just and the unjust. Just as the sun rises upon everyone irrespective of their belief.

But above all, they are active and creative in their minds, for when Adam (mankind) fell, the creative power of the mind was not taken away from man. We are only asked to renew the mind (Rom 1:1-2) God himself testified to the power of a creative mind when men was to build a tower of Babel up to Heaven in Gen 11

.vesre 6 says;
“6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”

The word “imagined” tells us of the creative power of the mind which is found in the soul of a man.
This I believe is what most Christians have missed out of. While God is committed to answering your prayers, he is obligated to bless the WORKS of your hands.

Meaning if you have nothing doing, he will have nothing to bless even though you have been blessed in Christ with your sins forgiven, poverty will be staring you at the face.

And to overcome this, you must as a believer operate kingdom principles.

Math.6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”

You can’t be in the kingdom and do Business like those outside of the kingdom. No!
I called you blessed of the lord.

God is not trying to save the whole world now, but he is rather busy raising sons through whom he will save the world like the first born son Jesus.

“Acts.15:12-18, Eph.2:4-8, Rom.8:20-23”

These sons, are the ones that understand that they are saved by grace that they in turn will show same to the rest of mankind in the ages to come.

” And hath raised us up together, and made ussit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus” Eph.2.6-7.

So, friends while it looks like God is failing as you look at the things around the globe, let it be noted that the Father is at work preparing his sons behind the scene.

The true qualification for these set of sons will be the ability to extend mercy to mankind at the end. He who doesn’t understand the role mercy played in his salvation will not be part of this new move of God on the earth in the ages to come.

For you can not be a king without being a priest. It is only the combination of the king/Priest (Rev.5.10) that can manifest true dominion.

Rom 8:7 (Msg) Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing.

8 And God isn’t pleased at being ignored.

9 But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won’t know what we’re talking about.

10 But for you who welcome him, in whom he dwells — even though you still experience all the limitations of sin — you yourself experience life on God’s terms.

11 It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s! “

Math.7:13 “Don’t look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don’t fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. 14 The way to life — to God! — is vigorous and requires total attention.

15 “Be wary of false preachers who smile a lot, dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are they are out to rip you off some way or other. Don’t be impressed with charisma; look for character.”(msg)

Following the Lord requires total attention to his word and will. It may be costly, making you lose friends and so on, and sometimes not even being popular. But there is a reward from Him at the end. Stay on course, don’t be a copy cat because men are famous. Your reward is only in that which he asked you to do.Be sure you are in it for Him.

“Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts-to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship.'” Exodus 31:1-5

Bezalel was called by God to perform a most important work for Him. I am sure that Bezalel believed that he was naturally gifted with his hands to make fine crafts with gold, silver, and bronze. He probably did not associate it with God’s work. But the Scripture tells us that God chose him and filled him with God’s Spirit to enable him.

Does God call men and women into their vocations to fulfill His purposes – to fulfill that which needs to be accomplished throughout the world? Have you ever thought about how many occupations there are in the world? How did that balance of interest among each human throughout the world happen? Did it just happen? Was it by chance that we have only so many doctors, only so many accountants, only so many geologists?Your interest in your vocation is not born of your own making.
So many workplace believers and even pastors have made the mistake of encouraging us who have a deep desire to walk with Christ in the workplace to pursue vocational ministry. To remove us from the workplace where the greatest harvest is yet to occur would be to remove us from where God called us. Do not take this bait. Serve the Lord in the workplace where He has gifted you and called you.

I almost made this same mistake when God drew me to Himself when I was 28 years old. I concluded that I must be called to be a pastor. I took steps to fulfill this by leaving my job and entering a Bible school for training. Upon completion, I took a job as an assistant pastor in a church. But God’s mercy allowed me to be removed from that position only three months into it. I was “forced back into business,” where God wanted me in the first place. It was a great lesson. I was never cut out to be a pastor in a church, but a “pastor” in the workplace.– (Os Hilman. )

Find out who you are in the Hands of God and stay there to Please Him, who has so called you to it.

For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! (Romans 5:10)

The cross of Jesus Christ is essential as it offers us forgiveness and reconciliation to God. But it is Christ’s resurrection that actually saves us, enabling us to be born again with new, resurrection life in Jesus.

Hence the message is not actually the cross but the kingdom of God which is his reign in us as the reigning king .

For if I cast out devil by SPIRIT OF GOD then the kingdom of God has come into you (Math 12:28) and the spirit didn’t happen at the cross but after resurrection , which is the release of his spirit .

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom 14:27)

In true Biblical perspective , the opposite of SACRED is not SECULAR; but sin.

I saw NO TEMPLE therein in the City of God (Rev.21:22) means there is no distinction of things into SACRED and SECULAR, for all things and persons shall be Holy unto the Lord

So then, ” ..whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” (Col.3:17).

Therefore even your business or job is a ministry call to the culture around you.

In understanding scripture and the mind of God, we must be Hebraic in our interpretation.

While the Greeks are humanistic , the Hebrews are Theistic in view.

Until we learn to embrace reading and understanding the Bible from a Hebraic perspective, we will always miss the mind of God.

For the Greeks think dualism, of the spiritual and the world. But the Hebrews concept of life is one. Meaning you can infuse the spiritual into your work place and so making it spiritual.

Therefore to the Hebrew mindset with which the authors wrote the Bible (NT) though in Greek, there is no secular or sacred (spiritual) , all is but one because the heaven has invaded the earth.Thy kingdom come…

God intend you to live the supernatural everyday of your life . And so we read …

Rom 12:1 (Msg) So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you:

Take your everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life — and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.
