John.3: 3 …Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”

Math.10: 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

In the first place, the word AGAIN actually means ABOVE.

But how are you truly born from above? To see is to understand and to experience .for the kingdom is Righteousness, peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom.14:17)

So to see the kingdom is to experience what makes up the kingdom. Now there is a law called, the Law of Biogenesis.

This Law shows that during all of recorded history, life has only come from pre-existing life. No human power has ever been able to produce life out of inorganic chemical substances, nor has such a phenomenon ever been observed by human eye. 

The simplest and nearest way to look at this law is to see the law of Osmo regulation.

(1)Osmosis is the process by which molecules of a solvent tend to pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated solution.

(2) It also means the process of gradual or unconscious of ideas knowledge etc.

So them, except a man be born “from above,” he cannot enter the Kingdom just above him.

Meaning, there is no existing passage from the lower kingdom to the higher, whether from inorganic or organic, or from natural to spiritual, the injection of a LIFE is a necessity if a stone or a plant or an animal or a man is to pass from a lower sphere to a higher sphere.

True life is by the coming down of God to pick man up into a new life of His.

The Law of Biogenesis therefore denied forever the possibility of resurrection within itself, unless life from a higher realm is injected into the dead life.

So then man being dead in sins and trespasses (Eph.2:1-2) cannot perceive God without the invasion of the Spirit coming down to pick up and unite man to himself.

That is what it means to being born from above.

Ah! It seems Apostle Paul never had a FREE WILL.

Again he said; Rom.6:16  “When you give yourselves completely to someone as slaves, to obey him, then you will really become that person’s slaves. You should know that. You are either slaves to *sin, and, as a result, you will die. Or you are God’s slaves, who obey him. And, as a result, God will accept you as right with him” EasyEnglish.

Meaning there is no middle ground because slaves have no CHOICE (WILL) of their own.

You are either a slave to sin to dictate your life or you are slave to God to control your life.

Do you really think there is a free will anywhere…?

Can will really say man has a free will ?

So who rules you your life?

How true is the word, “O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walks to direct his steps” (Jer. 10:23).

 Again, “It is NOT of him that WILLS or of him that runs, but of GOD that shows mercy” (Rom. 9:16).

Looking at the above scriptures, is man truly a free moral agent?

Let’s consider the elements in that phrase viz;

1. An AGENT is an actor, one who is able to act or perform.

2. A FREE agent is one who can act as he pleases without any restraint of any kind placed upon him.

3. A free MORAL agent is one who is free to act as he pleases and without any restraint on all moral issues, i.e. questions involving the qualities of right and wrong.

My question then is this:

Is that child free who is born in a communist land and in a godless home; who is told by its government and taught by its teachers that there is no God in heaven, and never knows even a verse of Scripture until that child is steeped in unbelief and infidelity?

Can we really say such a child is a free moral agent?

How free morally is such an individual?

Is that child free who is born in the slums; the child of a harlot and a whoremonger; a child without a name no true identity, who grows up with the brand of shame upon his forehead wherever he goes, from the beginning; who grows up amidst vice, and never knows virtue until he or she is completely drunk in vice?

Is such a child a FREE MORAL AGENT, free to act intelligently, as he chooses, upon all moral questions?

Was it by your choice, you were born by your parents or even the country you are born into?

How accurate is this brand of theology. Why haven’t we ever given it a second thought or get a balance in it?

You may be right that man is a free moral agent!

But am just wondering how far this is truth.

Just thinking about our theology sometimes as to what everyone has come to believe in, without a second thought. #JustAThought!

Luke.21

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

The above statement was primarily made by Jesus to his disciples in their days because of the happenings then. The point I want to make clear here, is the fact that you might have a heart attached by looking and observing  the things that are going on today , right from the signing of the document of the one world religion, the Corona virus pandemic, the Bill Gate G5, the enforcement of corona virus vaccine in Denmark etc etc. I write to say calm your nerves people!.

So will there be a one world Government?

Is the corona virus a sign of the end time?

Is the stay at home an indication of that, because you now work from home and so the implementation of  their agendas of the A.I, (Artificial Intelligence)? Are all these to birth the coming of the Antichrist? And on and on?

Again I say save your nerves.

Quarantine

Let me start with the, stay at home. Which is actually a quarantine procedure to prevent and curb the spread of the diseases?

Is this a new thing?

Whatever happens to lepers in the Bible? e.g the four lepers by the gate

2kings 7: 3 ¶ And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

Why were they by the gate? They were self-quarantined.

What of Miriam when they spoke against Moses, and the lord afflicted her with Leprosy,

Nu 12:10..15 ¶ And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous… And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again” 

That was quarantine right?

God asked Israel to quarantine themselves when he sent trouble on the land, like in Egypt and Babylon.

Isa.26: 20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be over past.

21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain”

All these have nothing to do with the end of the world or an Anti-Christ rising therefore it’s a sign.

To self-quarantine is the method God has ever used to save his people from the spread of dangerous diseases and troubles.

 Friends, rest your nerves.

One world Government?

For human government, the last one was the Roman Empire. Right from that time, God has never or will ever allow another one rise.

We see this from the image of Nebuchadnezzar.

Dan.2: 32 this image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.’

Interpretation:

Dan.2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure”

Meaning, after the rise and fall of these kingdoms, of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and the last being the Roman Empire at which time Jesus was born.. God will set up his own kingdom,

 “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

And that is why Christ was born at the time of the Roman Empire.

And so in response to Pilate at the time of his judgment, Jesus said:

John.18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then?

Jesus answered; Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”

What truth was he referring to?

The very prophecy of Daniel we just read. .Again the matter doesn’t end there, Daniel further said prophetically.

Dan.7: 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion,(the beast that spoke great words, the very system of man) to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him”

This is why Paul said:

1Cor.6: 1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? How much more things that pertain to this life?

So you see, the real one world Government is the kingdom of God operated by the Saints of the most High, the en-christ company of God’s people. Hence creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. No fear of an Antichrist. Rest your nerves.

Now, I was in this flight to South Africa, this advert came up on the screen with the late Nelson Mandela wearing a golden ring on his left finger, and instantly I was reminded of how we have been taught even in my early days of the Christian faith of how the street of heaven is made of pure Gold and the only scripture we relied on for this belief till date is Rev.21:21.

”And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass”.

Instantly, the question came to my mind as quicken by the spirit, can God use a perishable mineral to decorate the imperishable?

If heaven is the eternal state of being, how come God is using the natural to decorate the eternal realm of existence?

One really wonders sometimes what we teach, preach and believe in, in our faith.

So if I may ask, what is Rev 21:21 talking about.

Verse 10 of Rev 21 described for us what the whole chapter is all about….

“And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God”

It is all about the heavenly Jerusalem as opposed to the earthly Jerusalem.

This is fully clarified in Gal. 4:22-26, where the two women of Hagar and Sarah are compared..

24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

 25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

 26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.”

So, this heavenly Jerusalem is simply talking about a people, the New covenant people, Paul will further says…

“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and church of the firstborn” (Heb.12:22-23)

So essentially Rev.21 is not describing something up in the sky but a people redeemed of the Lord, the Lamb’s coming into manifestation on the earth.

What then does the street of God mean?

Again, the answer is found in the scriptures as we compare the Jerusalem of old in the Lamentation of Jeremiah. Look at it;

Lam. 4:1 “How is the gold become dim! How is the most fine gold changed! The stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street;”

What then is he saying, the prophet, was here contrasting the various effects and  the wretched circumstances of the Jewish nation then, as compared to when she was in a flourishing state of her affairs in former times.

He first compared her state to the gold, (bhz zahab), which was the native gold from the mine, which, contrary to its glorious nature, has become dimmed, destroyed;

Furthermore that even the fine, the sterling gold, (Mtk kethem,) that which was stamped to make it current, is changed or adulterated, so as to be no longer acceptable. Notice that, two golds were mentioned in the passage.

And all these though, speaks of the temple was actually describing the fallen priests and apostate prophets.

So you see that? It was a people!

And when we talk of ‘The stones of the sanctuary’( vdq ynba abney kodesh), the holy stones; we are there talking about the Jewish godly men, who were even then the living stones of which God built his Church.

Now, what did the Bible called believers today? “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ” (1 Pet.2:5).

So basically the Bible uses Gold to describe for us the Divine Nature of God. This is so because; the Ark that was made of shittim wood in the Most Holy Place was plated with pure Gold together with the Cherubim on top of the lid of the Ark.

Therefore, man that is redeemed of God is clothed with his Divine Nature and so we read..

“….Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2Pet 1:4.

Therefore, when we read of the street of Gold in Rev. 21. We are simply describing the purity of the way and Nature of God that the redeemed man has come to possess and to walk in and with.

Think of it, how could a whole city have just one street?

And what makes up a city?

It is several houses put together. 

speaking  therefore of the several dwelling  places of God that he resides in by the spirit,  the believers. Eph2:20-22.

When Jesus said He is THE WAY.. Another way of saying that is, HE IS THE STREET.

 He wasn’t talking of a literal street, for A WAY is only descriptive of the direction you follow to get to a destination.

The street of pure Gold therefore is simply the purity of the Divine Nature of God that the Church, the Lamb’s wife has come to possess.

Why? Because when a woman gets married to a man, she changes her surname and takes on the name, identity of the man. It has nothing to do with certain street up in the sky that we are going to be walking on when we gets to heaven. But rather it’s a state of being.

The divine Nature of God now possessed by the redeemed of the lord.

This is where I get amazed when men get into eschatology, using Mathew 24 etc to threaten people about the end time.

Which end time are you truly referring to?

Which end is ending?

When Jesus said Math 16:

 28  Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom”

Who was he talking to?

Are the disciples still alive?

When he said

Mat 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.”

Who was he talking to?

Are we in Jerusalem today?

Why not we stay with that which the father has revealed to us instead of clinging on every happening around to be the sign of the end time.

So now Jesus is coming soon because of the pandemic of coronavirus.

My friend these things are NOT the sign of the end of the world neither are the sign of Christ coming.

Stay in what the father has graced you with, and stop posting fear in the heart of people on facebook.

If there is any evil pandemic like coronavirus as spoken by the scriptures, the Lord provided the solution to the believer in PS 91.

Go deeper in God and get protected under the shadow (the glory emanating from under the wings of the cherubim on top of the Ark in the most holy place) and be protected.

2Cor.5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:..”

That’s what the word says. The NEW CREATURE, is the man that is IN CHRIST, not just the man that has Christ in him.

Christ in you is the hope of glory.

So what’s the difference?

If Christ is in you, men will see you first. But if you are in Christ, Christ is seen first when we look at you.

So the truth is, the New Creature are men that reveal and manifest Christ wherever they are.

Their life is a message all by itself.

The best way to explain this is like Christ said “if you have seen me you have seen the father”

Meaning the invisible God is made manifest by the man Jesus. Even so, the New Creature is the invisible Christ made manifest by man.

In summary, if you have water in a bottle and you drop the bottled water in an ocean. You have the water in the bottle and the bottle in the water .That’s the New Creature.

When men look at you, what do they see?

Can people merely looking at you find the Christ?

Just as he is the way to the father, we are also the way to the Christ and then to the father.

Again this is the man as the express image and glory of God in Christ.

Dan.12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Prince= rs sar, sar a head person (of any rank or class):–captain (that had rule), chief (captain), general, governor, keeper, lord, ((-task- ))master, prince(-ipal), ruler, steward.

And so in
Dan.10:20 the word says..”Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince”.

Vs. 20. To fight with the king of Persia] What was the fight? It was merely to remove all the doubts of Cyrus, and to excite him to do all that God designs him to do for the restoration of my people, the Jews, and the rebuilding of the city and temple of Jerusalem. Nothing less than a supernatural agency in the mind of Cyrus can account for his decree in favour of the Jews. He had no natural, no political inclination to it; and his reluctance to obey the heavenly motions is here represented as a fight between him and the angel.

While
The prince of Grecia shall come.] refers to Alexander the Great, who was to destroy the Persian empire later on.

Before dealing with Jude 9, let us qickly deal wih the issue of Rev 12:7,

7 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels”.

There was war in heaven] If you take time to study the Rabbical write ups, you will clearly see that this is dealing with the same concept of what happened in Ex 14:7-24,.

“ And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them….. 27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea”

It is evident that the man child of Rev 12 speaks historically of the church that was born during the Roman Empire .We know this, because when Jesus was comforting the disciples with the Promise of the Holy spirit he told them ..

John.16: 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

So the release of the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost gave birth to the man-child , “ that a man is born into the world “

Just like the Church was his first born in Egypt. Even so the man child, during the Roman Empire.

“There was war among those above and among those below, and there was great war in heaven.”

Again, in Verse. 7. And there was war in heaven] The war in heaven in here was simply an allusion to the throne of the Roman empire, the consequent of which was the breaking out of civil commotions among the governors of this empire.

“Michael and his angels fought against the dragon”

Michael was the man child , being the Christ in the midst of his people which the woman brought forth, as is evident from the context, was therefore, the dynasty of Christian Roman emperors. This dynasty is represented by Michael, because he is “the great prince which standeth for the children of God’s people.” As seen in Da 12:1.

“And the dragon fought and his angels” here then are his ministers.

Now in Jude 1:9 “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee”.

First look at
Zec.3: 1 ¶ And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him”

Verse 1. And he showed me Joshua the high priest] The Angel of the Lord is the Messiah, as we have seen before; Joshua, the high priest, here represent the whole Jewish people; and Satan, the grand accuser of the brethren. What the subject of dispute was, we perhaps learn from Jude 1:9. Michael and Satan disputed about the body of Moses. This could not refer to the natural body of the Jewish lawgiver, which had been dead about one thousand years; it must therefore refer to that body of laws given to the Jews by Moses, for the breach of which Satan, who was their tempter to disobedience, now comes forward as their accuser; that, exciting the justice of God against them, they may be all brought to perdition.

There is a play on words here:-

Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.] Njs Satan signifies an adversary. wnjsl lesiteno, to be his adversary, or accuser.

Verse 3. Joshua was clothed with filthy garments] Here the Jewish people were in a most forlorn, destitute, and to all human appearance despicable, condition; and besides all, they were sinful, and the priesthood defiled by idolatry; and nothing but the mercy of God could save them.

Zec 3:1, to have stood, Satan being at his right hand to resist him, namely, in his plan of restoring the Jewish Church and state, called by Jude the body of Moses, just as the Christian Church is called by Paul the body of Christ.

Then compared with .. Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee”

Disputed about the body of Moses.

There is no evident in scriptures as to the source of St. Jude’s statement. Meaning he drew it from the source of some tradition among his countrymen. Just as one can see from the work of Debarim Rabba, sec. ii., fol. 263, 1:

A similar contention story of Michael with Satan is mentioned in Yalcut Rubeni, fol. 43, 3: “At the time in which Isaac was bound there was a contention between Michael and Satan. Michael brought a ram, that Isaac might be liberated; but Satan endeavoured to carry off the ram, that Isaac might be slain.”

So evidently Jude picked his source from tradition
Now note it , that the contention mentioned by Jude is not about the sacrifice of Isaac, nor the soul of Moses, but about the BODY OF MOSES;.

Some think the devil wished to show the Israelites where Moses was buried, knowing that they would then adore his body; and that Michael was sent to resist this discovery.

As so we read in Deut.34: 5 “So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day”.

Then from where was the devil dragging the body of Moses and with whom? The very God who buried him all by himself and no man knew?

As we have stated before, Jude’s write up were tied to earlier Jewish fables, but of course you must read the scriptures with a spiritual mind

The Body of Christ is the church, just as the Body of Moses was the church in the wilderness. What ruled the Body of Moses was the law, while the Body of Christ is ruled by the law of the Spirit of Christ.

What the devil was contending with was that Christ will not go to the Cross so that the power of the law which is sin that results in death might continue. In other words, the devil does not want the law to be abolished as speaking of the Body of Moses.

And this is defined for us in
1 Cor.15: 54 “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? {grave: o
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law”.

Michael the Archangel.

Jude 9. “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee”.

So when we read of [ Yet Michael the archangel] With regards to Michael in the Bible , in the words of “Rabbi Judah Hakkodesh : “Wherever Michael is said to appear, the glory of the Divine Majesty is always to be understood.” Just like
Shemoth Rabba, in sec. ii., fol. 104, 3. So every one of those writers have always considered Michael as we must see to be the Messiah manifested in the flesh. Nothing more.

May we not forget this fact, that the word archangel is never found in the plural number in the sacred writings. Therefore there is properly only one archangel, one chief or head of the entire angelic host.

Just like the word Devil when used for Satan is never used in the plural sense .It is but one, the father of lies .John.8:44.

Michael is this archangel, and head of all the angelic orders; the devil, great dragon, or Satan, is head of all the diabolic orders.

When these two hosts are opposed to each other they are said to act under these two chiefs, as leaders; hence in Re 12:7, it is said: MICHAEL and his angels fought against the DRAGON and his angels.

The word Michael lakym, is the compounded of ym mi, who, k ke, like, and la El, God; he who is like God; hence by this personage, even in the Apocalypse, many understood Him to be the Lord Jesus. There can be no doubt about this.

Therefore Archangel Michael, the Prince of the Jewish people is no other person but Jesus Christ the Lord.

Deut 32: 8 When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
9 For the LORD’S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

Acts.17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Here was when the Nations were divided into their various portions, God gave each of them an angelic being as their guardian spirit but for Israel it was Christ, hence they had none, this is why he was referred to in Chapter 12 as the prince that standed for the children of your people Israel.

Similarly , In Josh.5: 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant.

Here he was seen with the sword drawn .The Lord Christ.

This is why when you read in Dan 10: 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

So who was this prince in Verse 13. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me]

Let it be noted that, no good or evil ANGEL is intended here. Cyrus alone was the prince of Persia, and God had destined him to be the deliverer of the Jewish people; but there were some matters, of which we are not informed, that caused him to hesitate for some time. Probably the fear of the greatness of the work, and not being fully satisfied of his ability to execute it, he therefore for a time resisted the secret inspirations which God had sent him. The opposition could be in reference to the building of the temple as he was not a Jew.

We have a similar inspiration given to the widow that fed Elijah in 1King, 17:9

“Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee”.

The key word there is the word “commanded.” note it, this was unknown to the woman that she was working out the perfect will of God when she finally gave the Prophet her last meal.

So, same was with king Cyrus, but he was more or less resisting this inspiration that God was giving to him to carry out. Which he finally yielded to do, when Michael came into the scene to persuade him. And so in yielding to go he finally wrote the decree..

Ezra.1: 1 ¶ Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

Here was the assignment given to him why the Lord God called him his anointed ..

Isa.44: 24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
27 That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
28 That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid…..

Isa.45:1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;…….
13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of host”

You see that?

But lo, Michael] But angel Gabriel, who was speaking, did not leave Cyrus till Michael came to take his place. Michael, means “who is like God,” and this often appears to mean the Messiah, at other times the highest or chief archangel.
Indeed there is no archangel mentioned in the whole Scripture but this one. Jude 1:9; Re 12:7. The one Chief or arch angel means chief messenger, and Malachi tells us he is the Christ.

But note this fact also in Col 1:18 “
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence”

The word preeminence .= prwteuw proteuo, prote-yoo’-o =means.. to be first (in rank or influence):–have the preeminence.. Foremost (in time, place, order or importance):–before, beginning, best, chief(-est), first (of all), former.

Now look at this, talking about Jesus Himself
Mal.3.: 1 ¶ Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Here the two messengers mentioned, one is John the Baptist the other is Jesus Christ .

But what did the scripture called him here ? a messenger, same thing as angel as used of John in
Luke 7:27 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

aggelov aggelos, ang’-el-os = from aggello (probably derived from 71; compare 34) (to bring tidings); a messenger; especially an “angel”; by implication, a pastor:–angel, messenger.

It is an issue for some people when you use the title messenger or angel for Jesus the Christ, forgetting that it’s just another phase of his ministry in relation to his work of redemption of humanity. Otherwise how will you believe the everlasting Father is the same person as the son. (Isa.9:7.) It just a ministry, for father, son and Holy Ghost which are titles are one and the same person in different dispensation of the ministry of redemption.

18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; note

19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

The above scriptures clearly tells us that one can be rich and still be a Christian.
It even shows us how to behave when we have money and how to use it . And that in it’s accurate usage we are laying up a foundation for the future .
And that the father gives us all things to enjoy and that includes money my friend .
What do you distribute if you don’t have money .tell me, poverty?

Yes Abraham’s blessings firstly wasn’t money but the forgiveness of our sins. Acts 3:24-26.

But note it that none of Abraham’s children was poor , not even Ismael before you talk of his concubine children from Keturah whom he gave gifts, that was more than enough to substain them in life.
How many servants was Abraham having that he can feed and take care of and you called that man a poor man or not rich?
With what was RICHES measure is his days.

The abuse of the message of prosperity which was not the gospel itself doesn’t nullify the fact that God wants his prople live well financially on the earth. Using tricks to raise money from people doesn’t answer to the gospel of Christ.
Those who now claim the holy Ghost is offended by the message only now, I wondered where the holy Ghost was all these their years. When a man’s backsliding heart correct him he should admit it and stop bringing in the perfect holy spirit who is all perfect in all times and seasons .

Whatever you speak against will never come to you . It is not all business prople that are prosperous in life and God never called everybody into business.

Peter was a Fisher man when God called him and even Mathew they never went back to their businesses. In fact when Peter tried it after the deaths of Christ he brought him back out of his business to preach the gospel.

When we venerate poverty because we want to correct an impression, we are sure digging our own graves even while we are alive.
For poverty itself is not a Christian Virtue and neither will it be.

My humble opinion here is let us preach the gospel and stop fight wars that aren’t edifying but will attract men who will fall into our own level of thinking and not Christ.

Here again is the word of God.

“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’ And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.”
– 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Don’t miss this what you hate, you will never get in life .
Money is good and it’s not evil. It’s the love of and abuse of money that’s is evil .
God wants us to have all things to enjoy and distribute , don’t miss that point. That’s what the word says .
