The Primordial Mindset, Part 2
The word primordial actually means that which is first created or developed; the “existing in or persisting from the beginning.” It means “earliest formed in the growth of an individual or organ.”
That which is first created or developed as our initial doctrines of the Faith as the Church begins to evolve is primordial, for it ends up becoming what we termed church tradition as sacred cows of the Church even though they may not represent the mind of God for the season.
Jesus really warned against primordial-tradition and its negative effect on God’s agenda for His people. Look at this; Matt. 15:1,
“Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2 Why do thy disciples transgress the TRADITION of THE ELDERS? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. 3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also TRANSGRESS the COMMANDMENT OF GOD by your TRADITION.”
Notice that of all the 2,000 Greek nouns of the NT, there is only one word that has the numerical value of 666, the word is PARADOSIS translated as TRADITION.
“Why do thy disciples transgress the TRADITION of the elders…,” Matt. 15:2.
Just like in Acts 19: 25 we are told,
“Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.“ The Greek word for wealth here is “EUPHRIA” from which when translated totals 666. Just like Solomon’s wealth was 666.
Mark 7:13, “Making the word of God of ‘none effect’ through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
The original word “th mwra,” actually means “by your FOOLISH tradition.” Just like in the (Anglo-Saxon) it means “your foolish law.”
Now you remember that 666 is the number of the Beast in Rev. 13 right?
Meaning tradition equals 666, the Anti-Christ spirit. That which is opposed to Christ.
And of course we do know that wealth and tradition were the two great ‘corrupters’ of the Roman Church, which have also crept into the Pentecostal Churches today and now in the Apostolic movement, if you will.
Am i against wealth? No! I am just giving us what the scriptures says and the negative effect of primordial mindset; and how by way of pursing wealth, all manner of doctrines have crept into the Church.
Such as redeeming your first born by paying some amount of money and maybe twice in the year. How the tradition of giving out the whole of your salary of January as first fruit yearly in order for you to secure your future.. The reason is flawed if not just willingness to minister to the lord with your substance.
Now we know it is a must as a tradition that we organize a twenty-one day fast every January. Some have even gone into 120 days, as I saw in a flyer last week.Who exactly is giving these instructions.
I remember some years back, the Lord asked me to call for a fast because of a sister in the fellowship for a safe delivery. It was the first Friday of the month that I called for the fast and followed up in the next few months hosting programs called FIRST FRIDAY, with people coming in from other churches and we were recording signs and wonders.
But on this occasion the Lord said to me, “I did not ask you to do a First Friday as a program.”
Meaning the purpose of that instruction was over. I came out and announced to the church that the program has ended.
Were we getting miracles?Sure! Were others coming? Sure! Could it have been a means of growing the church? Sure! But unfortunately the owner of the Church says that’s not what He wanted. I had to obey.
You know that tradition and success could have kept Phillip, the evangelist, in Samaria with the level of revival that was taking place. People were massively coming to the Lord with signs and wonders following.
God asked him to leave that and join himself to a eunuch and in a desert. What kind of voice would that be?
The Word says in Rom. 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
One of the negative effects of tradition is that it cripples the flow of God’s spirit in the sons. This is because a tradition becomes your guide. You may not be under the Law of Moses, but you could be bound by tradition that does not allow you to hear God for yourself.
The essence of the fivefold ministry is to equip the sons of God as we bring them into a place of personal relationship with God as their Father (Eph. 4:11-13).
So, “Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel” (Rom. 9:6).Hear that please.
