Rev. 20: 12, “…and ANOTHER BOOK was opened, which is the BOOK OF LIFE: and the dead were JUDGED out of those things which were written in THE BOOKS, according to their works.”

“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in THE BOOK OF THE LIFE OF THE LAMB slain from the foundation of the world,” Rev. 13:18.

Continuing with the “The Book of Life of the Lamb,” we behold a situation where the Book was finally presented to the public view to be scrutinized. And this was done at the trial of Jesus by the tempter which was done after the forty days and forty nights, just to be able to see if there was an error or errors; some paragraphs not properly aligned or some dots and commas missing, etc., just to see whether the story therein is authentic or just a makeup.

The unmistakable proof of the genuineness of this Book without flaws was the response to every attack and attempt by the tempter when he replies by saying,

“It is written,” indicating that He was a living, walking Bible.

In fact He said, “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (John 14:30).

Again, we see the high priests come to examine Him to see if they could find a fault or something not properly noted in this Book when we read,

“And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? 63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God…12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. 13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?” (Matt. 26:62-63; 27:12-13).

Even in the above content, apart from Him being the Book, they have to examine Him as the Lamb of God to see if He has blemishes on Him. They also found Him to be a Lamb without spot or wrinkles.

Friends, there was absolutely nothing negative or not properly documented in this all important ever living Book that we are talking about now being read by all men in all ages past, present and ages to come.

What was it that makes this Book so unique and without any fault in any manner? The Book was simply an embodiment of the Father God.

Col. 2:9, “For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature],” AMP.

So you see we have a Book with unquestionable evidence of the Father’s wise judgment in sealing the Christ to become the forerunner of other sons who ultimately will be the true Epistle written “known and to be read of all men.” Unarguably this Book was written by God Himself for all mankind to read and live by.

Now there is something very significant we need to observe immediately after this trial was over in the wilderness. He went to the synagogue on the Sabbath and guess what happened?

Luke 4:17, “And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.”

He found the place where it was written of Him when the Book was presented to Him. So now here we see Him openly displayed for all and sundry to read and know exactly who He is, the very Lamb’s Book of Life.

What were His words? “THIS DAY IS THIS SCRIPTURE FULFILLED IN YOUR EARS!’”

By implication now you have seen and now you know the all-time Living Book amongst you written by God Himself. Praise God!

So we see that at the time He OPENED THE BOOK of Isaiah in the sight of the people, THE ‘BOOK OF LIFE’ WAS BEING OPENED BEFORE THEIR VERY EYES! And this is the very Book that takes care of every situation in human existence.
