Rev. 20:12, “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and ANOTHER BOOK was opened, which is the BOOK OF LIFE: and the dead were JUDGED out of those things which were written in THE BOOKS, according to their works.”
“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in THE BOOK OF THE LIFE OF THE LAMB slain from the foundation of the world,” Rev. 13:18.
THE BOOK OF THE LIFE OF THE LAMB
So we have seen from previous study that THE BOOK OF THE LIFE OF THE LAMB is the autobiography of God’s Lamb, the record of who He is, what He is like, and what He does. Everything you always wanted to know about the Son of God is contained in this wonderful Book of the Life of the Lamb!
Therefore, note that we are not talking of a literal book here, just as we do know that all that is in the Book of Revelation is symbolic. Children of God should know this fact that all that therein are the LIVING RECORD AND REVELATION of the life of the indwelling Lamb within.
In the words of Paul;
“Forasmuch as YOU are manifestly declared to be THE EPISTLE OF CHRIST ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. Who also has made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life,” 2Cor. 3:3,6.
This is showing that the Book of Life, the Book of Life of the Lamb and the Book of the Son of God is all but a Gospel of a people.
Meaning the life of Christ is being etched into a people who eventually become Christ on the earth.
The word epistle (epi epi, ep-ee’) properly, means a superimposition (of time, place, order, etc.) as a relation of distribution.
The word superimposition is when you take a picture and you take another one on top of the first one, you will be seeing the first one faintly at the background of the last one you took.
Meaning the Christian community with the life of Christ etched into them becomes all that you can ever see now to discover the Christ who is spirit. A relation of distribution of time, place and order, now the order of Melchizedek.
Let me give you a clear example of what I am saying here. In John (12:20-24) is the story of how the Greeks came looking for Jesus. Phillip spoke to Andrew, and they went to Jesus to tell Him the Greeks are there to see Him. Guess what His reply was?
“And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit” (23-24).
The question is what has a corn of wheat must die got to do with the Greeks wanting to see you?
You know what? Here He meant to tell them, you both are here telling me the Greeks want to see me. This is simply only because I am still alive and walking around, but I will soon be going to Jerusalem and be crucified and will come back to you as the Holy Ghost thereby being distributed amongst you as the Holy Spirit; so that whoever wants to see me, you will have to show them yourselves and no longer looking for a man called Jesus “…because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more (John 16:10).
This then is what answers to the meaning of Epistles—”the super imposition” , which is “the relation of distribution” “in place,” “time and order.”
Can you see it? Meaning the believer is now the Book that people can read to understand who Christ is, as part of His autobiography by the Holy Spirit.
“…At the center of all this, Christ rules the Church. 23 The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which HE SPEAKS AND ACTS by which he fills everything with his presence,” Eph. 1:22-23.
