Rev. 20: 12, “…ANOTHER BOOK was opened, which is the BOOK OF LIFE: and the dead were JUDGED out of those things which were written in THE BOOKS, according to their works.” “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in THE BOOK OF THE LIFE OF THE LAMB slain from the foundation of the world,” Rev. 13:8.

So we move on to explore further this wonderful “Book of the Life of the Lamb,” which is Jesus Christ the Son of God.

Get this right. Jesus never carried any physical book with Him when He taught the multitudes, even in that which is called The Sermon On the Mount…”The Beatitudes,” which actually stands for the “Be-attitudes” of those in the kingdom of the Father.

There were no Old Testament scrolls, etc., even in that which is called the modern Bible with its various thousand and one translations.

Jesus simply demonstrated what the Bible really is. He was simply THE BIBLE PERSONIFIED, the true intents and mind of God in a Body.

See how the Bible described Him;

John 1:18, “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

John 1:18, “No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known],” Prov. 8:30 AMP.

So you see, He is the true picture of the invisible God the Father, the very Living Word of His Father. He reveals the Father in full measure. The full life of the Father was and is all within Him and with His physical Body He expressed the Father in all realms of life. In His words to Phillip when he asked to be shown the Father, He said;

John 14:9, “Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”

Furthermore, Apostle John said, 1John 5: 20,

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”

So we can see that Jesus in His humanity was the first chapter of this marvelous Book of the Life of the Lamb. But the wonderful Good News of it all is that now the Lamb of God living out His Life in us is the completion of the Book!

Therefore we read, “For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Heb. 2:10; Rom. 8:29 KJV).

We can therefore see that through us this glorious company of sons in His image the world shall now, at last, read “the rest of the story as being the Book of the Life of the Lamb!”

In line with the above, R. J. Campbell of the nineteen century in a sermon would say,

“Now what do we think about the Lamb’s Book of Life today? Well, I will tell you what it is not. It is not a list of those whom God has agreed to admit to heaven because they firmly believe that someone else has done all that was necessary to get them there. It is God’s roll of honor. It is the glorious company of those who have suffered with Christ. It includes all whose lives have been willingly and cheerfully offered on the altar of love. The very phrase ‘the Lamb’s Book of Life’ is a declaration of this, and distinguishes it from every other list of names that was ever written…”
