Galatians 1:3-4 “3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:”
Genesis 1:1-3 “1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
Everything as the heavens and the earth were all already created before the man was formed.
The universe was already in existence, but that which is called the world didn’t exist.
So we are talking of the natural man walking in relation to the spirit of the serpent after Adam has been driven from the Garden. As he began to multiply on the earth he began to give direction and definition to the “new world order” of man independent of God.
Cain built a city, an organized society in a fallen state .That my brother is the world!
Anything done outside of the Spirit and leading of God is a product of Cain, the fallen man in Adam.
The Three Primary Needs of Man:
For man to survive and live well on earth, three primary needs must be met which are centers on;
Provision – food , clothing and shelter, etc.
Protection – means of defense from adversaries; and
Pleasure – the things that gives him joy and happiness.
Before the fall, you can bet that all these were available in the Garden as provided by God. And they were in abundance in the Garden of Eden when the first man that built the city left the presence of God.
Here is how he was described in;
I John 3:12 “Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” The preposition “of” is from the Greek EK meaning “out of.”
Cain was OUT OF that Wicked One — the seed of the serpent!
We know the parents of Cain were Adam and Eve, so how come he is being referred to here as the seed of the serpent?
It is simply because he was a product of the fallen man, the seed from his parents.
Meaning this serpent seed is in the nature of the fallen man, the fallen man in Adam.
Hearts Of Men
Mark 7: “18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; 19Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? 20And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
The above description tells us what is in the heart of the fallen man.
Now notice that it says the hearts of men. Meaning all mankind has the same heart and these are things in every unredeemed heart.
And so the records of Genesis says;
Genesis 6:5 “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
So have you ever wondered that the same old serpent was called a
Dragon in Revelation?
Revelation 12:9 “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
Yes! That is it, that small old serpent with its seed in the hearts of men became a Dragon. How? Simply as men began to multiply on the face of the earth, the serpent was growing to become a Dragon.
So, now the Dragon has become the system of the serpent just as the Church is become the Body of Christ on the Earth today that started with just twelve persons in Palestine on the earth.
So then this is what makes up the world, the system of the devil, the Dragon, as operated by men outside of God’s presence.
