“Workmanship and the creation of king Tyrus”

Ezekiel 28:13 “You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and PIPES was prepared for you on the DAY YOU WERE CREATED”

What were these elements symbolic of? Which were used to decorate this creation in Eden?

Firstly, listen to what God said of these personalities again;

Ezekiel 26; 12And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water. 13And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard. 14And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD”.

The very same thing God said of king Nebuchadnezzar;

Isaiah 14:11(MSG) “This is where your pomp and fine music led you, Babylon, to your underworld private chambers,”

“Pomp” and music, the accompaniment of Babylon’s former feastings (Isaiah 5:12; 24:8).

The Hebrew word for “pipes” in Ezekiel 28; is very significant, it’s translated “females” that is, musician-women, having reference to Genesis 1:27;

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”

This is full endowment of authority as can be seen and completeness of function. Adam was only complete as it were with the Female.

“Every precious stone was your covering”

The true meaning of these stones can be found in Exodus 28:9-10

“And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel: 10Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth”

Four rows of stones with a name on each stone, making in all the twelve names of the twelve tribes is Israel.

What was the purpose of these? It is that the priest takes the Children of Israel with him to the presence of God when he goes into the most Holy place to minister, offering sacrifices on their behalf. It is a symbol of royalty, authority and walk with God just like in Eden (Genesis 2:12); “gold, bdellium, and the onyx stone.” were there.

So here the king of Tyre, Tyrus himself was arrayed in jewel-bespangled robes as the fashion of Oriental monarchs as he comes into the place of Royalty and dominion.

“The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created” Ezekiel 28:13.

This is why they teach that Satan was a musician. But what exactly is this talking about?

Before we look at that, what does it mean ‘the Day you were created’?

In Genesis 1:27 we are told “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”.

Here there was no physical being until Genesis 2:7, ‘let us form man of the dust of the ground’

meaning Genesis 1:26-27 was a spiritual man, the idea was let us empower a creature with the spirit life. Then the man to be empowered came forth in Genesis 2:7

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul”

The idea of creation is made plain as we read in the Psalms.

“This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD”. (Psalms 102:18).

What do we mean the people that shall be created, when creation has already taken place way back in Genesis account? The lord is here talking about a people that shall come forth in the ages to come with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Look at it again; Psalms 104:30

“Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth”

So how are they created?

By the sending forth of the Holy Spirit into their lives. And these are those who came into being right from time of the sacrifice of Christ and the release of the Holy Spirit.

“Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created”. (Psalms 148:5)

Commanded here means the sending forth of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore “…we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). This is what makes you a new creature as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

The day King Tyrus was created, therefore was simply when he ascended the throne with the “Tambourines”, that is, with all the marks of joy that was readily prepared for him. (“in thee,” that is, “with and for thee”). In other words, you did not work or struggle your way to come into the throne, just like Adam was created and given a Garden to manage without him struggling and was clothed with glory.

“The workmanship”- so we found that the prophet spoke of the joys, music, and songs, both to loud, and to softer music, as the lute, and tabret in the day of the king’s coronation, and all this on instruments of most exquisite make, and of their own artistic work. So Tyrus was Created-King, meaning in the day of his coronation, nothing to do with Adam or devil before his fall.

Let us please read and teach the word of God with understanding so that truth will not be fallen in the street and be trampled under feet.

Next will be; The anointed Cherub of Ezekiel 28.
