1 Kings 7: “20And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter. 21And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.”

Looking at the above passage one thing stands out, the nature of the call within the Body of Christ.

You see, God needs the two arms of the Priest and the Business man to have the Church established on a firm foundation. In the records of Solomon building the temple, first we have Jachin who was a priest then we have Boaz who was a business man.

So you see God intended to have the business people together with the priesthood to establish the Church on a solid foundation with these two pillars.

These are called kings and priests.

Rev. 5: “9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”

So it is very erroneous to think that someone who is in business doesn’t have a calling or cannot be called by God.

This is why you cannot vacate your business for the priesthood except you are double sure the Lord is moving you from the business world which is often called Bi-Vocational into what is termed full time. Both are simply callings from God to build His church, nothing to be ashamed of or to think that you are not called of God.

Truth be told the first person that God anointed in the Bible was not a Priest but an Artist. Look at it;

Exo. 31: “1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: 3And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.”

Can you see that? The word is, “I have filled him with the spirit of wisdom.” And in Chapter 30, here is Moses’ statement;

Exo. 35:30-31, “30And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; 31And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.”

Moses says he was CALLED by the Lord. So here is a ministry in the market place, the Boaz-business men.

Now you don’t expect Bazeleel to resign from his artistic grace to become a preacher in the pulpit full-time as we call it. That would be a misplaced priority and awkward in life.

And like I said in part one, the Church can only confirm what you are and so Moses has confirmed who Bezaleel is to Israel so they will accept him in his calling.

Friends don’t let anyone prophesy or counsel you out of your grace.

The word says; 1 Cor. 7: 20, “Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.”

The summary of this all is Col. 3:17,

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”

Meaning in whatever realm you find yourself, let it be the one that will praise the Father. Whether in business or in the priesthood –Pulpit, all are callings and that is what the Father will reward you for.

Be Blessed!
