“And I looked, and lo a Lamb stood on Mount Zion and with Him an hundred and forty and four thousand having His Father’s name written in their foreheads,” Rev. 14:1-5.

Going from Part 15 of this study, therefore, the 144,000 to receive His name on their foreheads is to receive a revelation of the new nature and characteristics of the Father in a people’s mind who are in Christ. The name speaks of the nature and character, even of the Lord Himself. The name is written as we become “…His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained, that we should walk in them,” Eph. 2:10.

As His character is worked in you, you become God personified. It is as a result of this in-working in Jesus that He told Philip who wanted Jesus to show them the Father and they would be okay,

“Jesus saith unto Him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, shew us the Father… Beiievest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?…” John 14:8-12.

What do you think Jesus was saying? It is simply that, all you needed to know and see about the Father, who is Spirit (John. 4:24), are now made manifest by my person. For no one has ever seen, actually seen God, but of course, His Son has?

“No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, the only begotten God, who is in the bosom (that is, in the: intimate presence; of the Father, He has declared Him – He has revealed Him, brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him, and He has made Him known,” John 1:18 AMP. Compare Prov. 3:30.

So then we are talking of a people who will make God known to the rest of creation as they are transformed and conformed to His image and likeness, which are the divine attributes of the invisible God.

In Ps. 91:14, we read of the man who dwells in the secret place of the Most High (v. 1). That “Because He hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath KNOWN MY NAME.”

Therefore, as we begin to receive this new nature of God in place of our old Adamic life and character, there will be a lifting up into a higher dimension of Spirit. From which position it will now be possible for us to rule over creation, which has been our mandate from God (Gen. 1:26-27) as we appear in His likeness and image.

The result of this transfiguration is Rev. 22:4, “And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”

“And they (we) shall see His FACE (His glory – presence); and His name shall be in their (our) FOREHEADS (minds). And there shall be no NIGHT THERE (walking in the blindness of our minds in Adam. Eph. 4:18-19) and they need NO CANDLE (religious light, in-part revelations of the holy place) neither LIGHT OF THE SUN (outer court, corresponding to our natural wisdom and human philosophy) for the Lord God giveth them (us) light (that is the complete revelation of the fullness of the Godhead has been made known to and in us (Eph. 3:19; Col. 2:10) and they (we) shall reign for ever and ever,” Rev. 22:3-4.

See what I am describing at its fullness;

Col. 2:9, “For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. 10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power] AMP. Praise God!

Thank God for “the effectual working of His power,” Eph. 3:7. Here we should be “transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God,” (Rom. 12:2) only as we receive His name.

To be continued…
