Luke 23:42, “And he said to Jesus, ”𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞, 𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧;❜ 43 and Jesus said to him, ‘Verily I say to thee, 𝗧𝗼-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲.❞ YLT
To further establish the fact that the Kingdom, which is Paradise, is the same thing as the Church, we read in the words of Paul;
Amp. 1Cor. 3:8, “He who plants and he who waters are equal (one in aim, of the same importance and esteem), yet each shall receive his own reward (wages), according to his own labor.
9 For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God; 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗢𝗗’𝗦 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗬𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, [you are] God’s building.”
The purpose of the cultivation is
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified,” Isa. 61:3.
Now this is why this cultivatable Garden is called the Kingdom and PARADISE. It is not to be found outside of this world, for it is the Church of Christ.
So we read in Rev. 2:6,
“But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; 𝗧𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱,❞ KJV.
Where do you find the tree of life? Right in the center of the Paradise, the Garden, the Kingdom of God.
And this is the way it has been from the very beginning when God made man and placed him in the Garden to dress it.
Gen. 2:9, “And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food;
𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣…❞
So you see Christ, who is the Tree of Life is right at the center of the GARDEN, the Kingdom, the PARADISE OF GOD.
In the words of Jesus to His disciples Matt. 26:29,
❞𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗜 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿❜𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺,”AMP.
Verse 29. “I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine.”
In other words, we shall not share the privilege of having another Lord’s supper together before I go to the cross.
“Until that day when I drink it new with you.”
That is, I have a better wine, a new one that I shall drink with you in the Kingdom of God. This is the wine that only the kingdom of God alone can offer.
It is NEW, very different from the previous one. This is speaking of the supreme blessedness of the Kingdom of God. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘆.
Therefore He says in Rev. 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door ,𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝗺, and he with me,” KJV.
Friends, the Thief got into Paradise to share fellowship with the Saints in the Church of GOD, His Kingdom.
Next will be “Lazarus in Abraham’s Bosom.”
